Famous Scientist Resume

We are starting a short lesson on scientist biographies and resume writing.  The students are assigned a famous scientist, say George Washington Carver for example, pretend that he is alive today and is trying to get a job with the US Department of Agriculture.  The students fill out a resume, then send it off to prospective employers.  The responses from Harvard, US Fish&Wildlife, or Sea World are great fun for all the students.  Talk to your child about who they are researching, where they would likely send the resume to, and what contributions their scientist made to the world.
